  1. Key Functions of IPRI to its affiliate members
    1. Share relevant information and developments on the situation of Indigenous Peoples, and on the work and activities of IPRI including its organizational reports;
    2. Coordinate campaign and advocacy activities at global, regional, and national levels, and engaging Affiliate Members and others as appropriate;
    3. Engage Affiliate Members in different activities of IPRI as appropriate;
    4. Provide assistance and support to Affiliate Members facing serious challenges in relation to criminalization and impunity, including:
      • Generating awareness and attention through action alerts, submission of communications, media releases or outreach, in coordination with the respective organization,
      • Facilitate legal defense and sanctuary assistance as needed and pending availability of resources,
      • Mobilize different forms of support in collaboration with the respective organization.
  1. Key Functions of Affiliate Members
    • Share information on cases and other relevant information relating to the criminalization of, attacks and impunity against Indigenous Peoples.
    • Participate in IPRI activities at the national level, regional and in global actions as appropriate.
    • Request support and assistance as needed in relation to specific cases and or planned actions.
    • Provide organizational updates as relevant in relation to coordination, advocacy and communication.
    • Recommend members for the IPRI Board and the Secretariat.
